Chang Tai Energy Co., Ltd (“Chang Tai”) was established in 2010 as a joint-venture company between a public trading company in Taiwan and a corporation in the United States. Upon its inception, Chang Tai has mainly, via its multiple overseas sister companies, developed projects worldwide due to the underwhelming market in Taiwan and the nature of its core business in system integration.

With Chang Tai’s recent success across Asia, the maturation of the Taiwanese solar market, and system integration gaining traction and importance in the solar “food chain,” Chang Tai formally launched its operation in Taiwan on January 1, 2020. To date, Chang Tai has obtained more than 100 hectares of land viable to be developed into solar projects and hope through its co-operations with its local partners, to further along the solar market in Taiwan.
